Product counting, type sorting and camera-based robot guidance.
Mixing up similar-looking products and miscounting cause problems in later production steps and in shipment. The system recognizes the product, determines its type and records the count.
In robot guidance, the camera calculates the position and orientation of the part. Using this information, the robot picks the part, turns it or brings it to the inspection angle, so different products and different surfaces can be inspected in a single cell.
The sorting result is sent through the PLC to the rejection or diverting mechanism.
