Automatic detection of defects such as cracks, burrs, broken edges and missing operations.
Manual visual inspection loses consistency as production speed increases and shifts get longer. Specto captures an image of every inspected part and compares it with the reference of a good product.
A part that deviates from the reference is marked NOK; the defect location is shown on the image and the reject reason is recorded. Inspection criteria are defined according to the product and the company’s quality standards.
The system can work with the camera and lighting already in the facility. Where no equipment is available, the camera, lens, lighting and electronics are selected for the product and supplied by Specto.
